Even when lockdown restrictions are eased, coronavirus will affect our lives in many ways.From Zooming clients to neighbourhood, WhatsApp groups, digital platforms have become the only way for many of us to work, get fit or be educated and entertained.Going forward, with lines between home and work blurred like never before, we’ll need to think carefully about which platforms we use and what we say on them.
One of the major outbreak that we faced in this pandemic period is in the field of education. Universities and college campuses are places where students live and study in close proximity to each other. They are also buzzing cultural hubs where students are brought together from nations around the world. Recently, the foundations of this unique ecosystem have been impacted significantly by the rapid spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, creating uncertainty regarding the implications for higher education.Over the past weeks, education officials have been forced to cancel classes and close the doors to campuses across the world in response to the growing coronavirus outbreak.The shutdown of the education institutions has led to many apprehensions among the students and teaching fraternity. However the teaching fraternity has been adopting innovative methods to interact with the students and focusing on the curriculum.The teaching fraternity with the use of many e-teaching or e-learning applications such as Google class room, Zoom, Easy Class, Go To Meeting, Remind, Slack and many others have been adopted to reach the students as far as possible. But there are several challenges that teaching fraternity is facing in e-learning applications. These are as follows-
